I was born and raised in NM, I moved to Texas in 2004 because my husband’s company transferred us here. I have always had a love for animals and have raised many different ones. This has ranged from skunks, raccoons to every farm animal known. I am married to my soul mate Jerry; we have 9 children and 21 grandchildren. My husband and I are part of a buyer’s group where we purchase projects from our local Tri-Club show in order to support the students. My hobbies are crocheting, quilting, sewing, reading, and love to play games of any sort. I started working at Treaschwig Veterinary Clinic 8 years ago as the evening receptionist. I have had the opportunity to be cross-trained to be able to help in many areas in the clinic.
Casandra was born in Houston, Texas. She attended Aldine High School where she graduated in 2014. When she graduated she always had a love for animals so she decided to further her education at Pima Medical Institute where she graduated in 2016 with her degree as a Veterinarian Assistant, internship at Treaschwig Veterinary Clinic and then was offered a position after. She grew up in a bilingual household where she is fluent in Spanish. Casandra has two rambunctious dogs Tulip and Mileena that’s she loves very much.
I am currently a senior at Texas A&M University. I will be completing my B.S in Animal Science in May 2019. I have always loved animals and can’t remember a time that I had no pets. I currently have two cats named Raikou and Nicholas, a beautiful collie mix named Leonardo Bartholomew, and recently got my first horse named Anastasia. Besides my love of animals, I love spending time dancing and hanging out with family and friends. Throughout my time at A&M I danced with Ballet Folklorico Celestial and performed at many events around Bryan, College Station, Houston, and even Austin. Besides traditional Mexican folklore, I also enjoy all forms of Latin dance.
I love all things Disney and my goal is to eventually visit every Disney park!
Ashley was born in Farmington, NM. Her family made the move to Texas in 2004. She attended High School in Spring, Texas where she graduated in 2008. After graduation, she started working as the receptionist at Treashwig Veterinarian Clinic. She is now a Veterinarian Technician. When she was younger she found her love for animals. Through the years she was active in 4-H and FFA; showing steers, lambs, and swine. Her love for animals keeps growing more with the canine and feline. At home, she has three beautiful girls and two handsome young men and two dogs.
I’m currently a senior at SHSU. I am seeking my degree in animal science in hopes to become a high school agriculture teacher. My passion for animals grew tremendously while raising livestock for FFA. I’ve been apart of the Treaschwig staff for a few months however I did intern with the clinic during High school. I love learning and helping clients care for the well being of their pet. I have two dogs of my own a 5-month-old Great Dane named Tarzan and a 3-year-old Pomeranian named Foxy. I’m so blessed to be apart of the Treaschwig Veterinary Clinic staff.
My name is David Gibson, I am 25 years old, and I am originally from Detroit, Michigan. I am the youngest of three sisters and a brother, we had plenty of pets from cats and dogs to lizards and hamsters. I always knew I could count on my animals to be my best friend even when if I was lonely or going through hardships in life. Unfortunately, I currently don’t have any of my own pets besides my pet rock, named stone. I currently have my EMT license with the goal of becoming a Paramedic Fire Fighter; I am starting school this upcoming fall. Although I don’t plan to make a life-long career in the Veterinary field, I continue to learn the similarities and differences between animal and human healthcare as well as getting to be a part of an amazing team, helping people by helping their best friends (Their pets). My favorite part of working here at Treaschwig Veterinary Clinic is getting to know all of the unique personalities of both the owners and their pets.
