    Hyperactive thyroid symptoms also include meowing a lot for no reason and being restless: she’ll get on your lap, get off, get on, get off, etc. till you want to throw her across the room (no, I would never do that to a cat and I hope you won’t either).

    And I forgot about this — the way I found out my cat was hyperthyroid was that he was panting on a merely warm day. That’s not normal.
